The Utah Lake Drainage Basin Water Delivery System (ULS) is the final component of the Bonneville Unit of the Central Utah Project. The planning area for the ULS is the Wasatch Front of Utah from Nephi in the south to Salt Lake City in the north. The goals of the ULS are to:
The ULS is intended to fill many needs, including completion of the Bonneville Unit by delivering an average annual 101,900 acre-feet of water from Strawberry Reservoir to the Wasatch Front area for municipal and industrial uses. The ULS will address a wide range of environmental commitments made during construction of features of other systems of the Bonneville Unit while continuing to provide Bonneville Unit water in accordance with existing contracts. |
